Beginning at the beginning.

So where’s the beginning?

Well, I guess the very most basic thing to understand is that most disease can generally be linked to inflammation.

And what’s inflammation?

According to this health and fitness blog, inflammation can be bad or good.

Good when it’s our body telling us we’ve been injured and have pain or swelling — this is part of the healing process.

Bad when it’s the kind of inflammation that’s at the root of dis-ease. The kind that is related to our immune systems being all outta whack and our bodies being unwell at a cellular level. That inflammation is a problem.

A big problem.

And when our immune defenses are down … we become a host for every little bug or nagging disease that comes down the pike. What to do? Here’s what Dr. Mercola has to say about this:
